Ferrari vows to improve procedures

Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari team principal Marco Mattiacci has promised that the squad will improve its procedures after Fernando Alonso copped a time penalty due to a grid infringement. A problem with the battery on Alonso's car meant that his mechanics were still working on the F14T after the 15 second signal to clear the grid was given. As a result, Alonso was hit with a five second stop/go penalty, which dropped him down the order and left him in seventh position at the end of the race.
