McLaren want long-term driver plan

McLaren have vowed to take their time over their driver line-up with Eric Boullier saying they are working on a strategy for the next few years. The Woking squad are yet to confirm their drivers for the 2015 season with both Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen unsure of their futures while Fernando Alonso has been linked with a return to McLaren. Former World Champion Button admitted in Spa over the weekend that it's an "unusual situation" and racing director Boullier echoed his views, but feels the team need more time as they want to put a long-term plan in place.
