Lotus attracts new sponsor for Italy, US

Lotus will be sponsored by Chinese firm Hisense for three races towards the end of this season. The electronics manufacturer – which specialises in flat panel TVs, household appliances and mobile communications – will appear on the sidepods of the E22 at both the Italian and United States grands prix, while it will feature less prominently in Abu Dhabi where the Hisense logo will be displayed on the airbox. Lotus F1 Team CEO Matthew Carter said it was a “substantial compliment” that Hisense had chosen the team for part of its global promotion. “We are thrilled that Hisense has chosen Lotus F1 Team to enhance and strengthen its continued global development,” Carter said....
