Boullier eyes Red Bull by end of season

McLaren racing director Eric Boullier believes the team has developments in the pipeline that may allow it to fight with Red Bull before the end of the season. Red Bull has marked itself out as Mercedes' nearest challenger by winning the last two races – and three of the last six – as it has established a firm grip on second place in the constructors' championship. While McLaren showed improved pace to move up to fifth in the standings at Spa, Boullier is focusing on the three teams sitting between McLaren and Mercedes as realistic targets to race with in the remaining seven grands prix. “It's true that getting in front of Force India was a short-term target, but it's not the final...
