Button: I could be forced to retire
+ Jenson Button has admitted that he could be forced to retire from Formula 1 at the end of the year, in the wake of speculation that McLaren is looking to lure a marquee signing to the team for 2015.
Eric Boullier admitted earlier this week that McLaren is looking at finalising a long-term plan for its driver line-up, a process which he says has left his two drivers, Kevin Magnussen and Button, feeling “uncomfortable”.
McLaren is said to be pushing for a major driver signing, with former driver Fernando Alonso, who left the team following a troubled 2007 season, a key target, ahead of Honda’s return to Formula 1 with Woking-based outfit from 2015.
