Boullier targets Red Bull by end of 2014

Eric Boullier believes McLaren's future performance upgrades could help the team to challenge Red Bull Racing in the final seven races of the 2014 season. The Woking-based outfit looked more competitive at the last race in Belgium and moved up to fifth in the constructors' standings, ahead of Force India. Red Bull Racing has consistently been Mercedes' nearest challenger so far this year. It is currently well clear of Ferrari in the runner-up spot in the championship. McLaren's racing director believes the team can challenge and beat the three teams ahead of them in the standings in the final part of the season.
