Hamilton and Mercedes to hold off on contract talks until title fight settled

+ Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton have agreed to hold off on talks over a new contract for the Englishman until the battle for the drivers’ championship is over. While both parties are keen to stay together beyond 2015, when Hamilton’s original deal with the team expires, an agreement has been put in place whereby all negotiations will be put on hold until a quieter period, once the intense battle for the drivers’ title is concluded.
