Mercedes discipline Rosberg

The Mercedes Formula One team said on Friday it has disciplined Nico Rosberg after he accepted "responsibility" for a crash with teammate Lewis Hamilton at the Belgian Grand Prix. The action was ordered in a clear the air encounter at team headquarters. "During this meeting, Nico acknowledged his responsibility for the contact that occurred on lap two of the Belgian Grand Prix and apologised for this error of judgement. "Suitable disciplinary measures have been taken for the incident," said a team statement. Sapa - AFP
