Mercedes duo free to race following team meeting

August 29th, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - A statement from Mercedes announced that Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton will remain free to race following a clash at the Belgian Grand Prix. The pair came together on lap two of the race and Hamilton later told journalists that Rosberg had told him he hit him on purpose. A statement from Mercedes confirms that Rosberg, Hamilton, Mercedes motorsports director Toto Wolff and executive director (technical) Paddy Lowe met in Brackley to discuss the events of the race.
