Dennis: McLaren can't attract big names
McLaren Executive Director Ron Dennis admitted that the Woking outfit isn't in a position to attract the top names in Formula One at the moment. McLaren haven't confirmed its driver line-up for next season yet, although it is expected that rookie Kevin Magnussen will stay on after performing admirably so far this season. That leaves his current team-mate, Jenson Button - who is out of contract at the end of the season, on the proverbial chopping block. Earlier this season Dennis urged Button to "try harder", but the McLaren boss admitted that there is little more the drivers can do in an noncompetitive car.
