Verstappen crashes on demo run

Max Verstappen's F1 career with Toro Rosso has suffered an inauspicious start after the 16-year-old crashed the team's car on a demonstration run in his native Holland.Verstappen, who will turn 17 later this month, will replace Jean-Eric Vergne with the team next season, making him the youngest-ever driver in F1 history.But his first public outing for the team ended in acute embarrassment on Sunday in Rotterdam when he stalled his Toro Rosso and then, after being helped on his way by marshals, lost control of the car and crashed it into the safety barriers.Verstappen is expected to appear in three practice sessions at the end of this season before participating in the test at Abu Dhabi in...
