Ferrari update plan lifts Vettel's confidence

Sebastian Vettel believes improvements Ferrari has planned for its car mean the team can still salvage something from this season, despite more disappointment at the Singapore Grand Prix. The German's hopes of challenging for a podium finish at the Marina Bay circuit last weekend were dashed by a rear-suspension problem in qualifying that left him at the back of the grid. And although he recovered brilliantly to finish fifth, it was not the podium finish nor the victory challenge that he had hoped for heading into the weekend. But Red Bull remains only 15 points ahead in the constructors' championship and, with Ferrari still planning some updates for its 2016 challenger, Vettel believes...
