Being one of three races where Mercedes failed to win a race in 2015, Mercedes technical director Paddy Lowe is motivated to get the job done this time around. Petronas, who is a sponsor of Mercedes, is also the country's national oil and gas company, which is another reason Lowe is looking forward to Sepang.
