Matt LeBlanc has agreed to a new two-year deal with the BBC to remain as Top Gear host, reigniting the show after it was throw into uncertainty with co-host Chris Evans stepping down after one series. The BBC has confirmed LeBlanc will return with Chris Harris and Rory Reid as regular hosts while Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz and The Stig will continue to make appearances. Harris and Reid will still lead the spin-off BBC Three show Extra Gear and join LeBlanc on the main BBC Two show. Top Gear's future was cast into doubt in July when Evans confirmed he would be leaving the show after just one series on the day after the final episode aired.
