Hamilton: First day a 'good building block'

– Lewis Hamilton has described his first day of practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix as a "good building block", after struggling in Singapore.Hamilton had to settle for third in qualifying and the race at Marina Bay last time out, as Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg grabbed title lead.Rosberg initially continued to set the pace in FP1 at Sepang, but Hamilton found his rhythm in second practice to finish the day two tenths clear."That was a good day today," said Hamilton."No issues to report and we got through our run plans in both sessions."There's a lot of data to analyse to make sure we have a good understanding of the tyres and of our position...
