Mark Webber to quit racing but will stay on with Porsche

Former Formula One driver Mark Webber will be calling time on his racing career at the end of the World Endurance Championship season in November. Having retired from F1 at the end of the 2013 campaign, the Australian switched to WEC with the Porsche factory team in the LMP1 category claiming the drivers' title last year with teammates Brendon Hartley and Timo Bernhard. 'I want to leave on a high,' said Webber who will be taking the role of a 'special representative' for the German manufacturer to attend global events and act as a consultant for motorsport programmes.
