Rosberg goes fastest in FP2 ahead of Ricciardo and Hamilton
Nico Rosberg pushed himself in Free Practice 2 for the United States Grand Prix to finish the session on top of the timesheets. The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team driver finished the session with a time of 1:37.358, which was an improvement of 0.07 seconds on the time set by Lewis Hamilton in Free Practice 1. Behind Rosberg was Daniel Ricciardo, a massive improvement for the Red Bull Racing driver as in Free Practice 1 he finished seventh. Hamilton was unable to continue his pace into the second session, finishing the session in third, a position ahead of the first Scuderia Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel, who finished with a time of 1:38.178.
