United States Grand Prix – Romain Grosjean finished in tenth to score a point on his 100th Grand Prix at Haas’ home race. Starting from 17th on the grid, Grosjean was able up three places at the start before shortly passing team mate Esteban Gutierrez for 13th. He then made up a further position in the first pit stop phase and, with the retirements of Max Verstappen and Kimi Raikkonen, was elevated to the points-paying position of tenth. “It didn’t go too badly today,” Grosjean said, “It was a bit of a messy first lap, but I managed to get through everything. “Then we went with an aggressive strategy trying to go for it.
