Christian Horner thinks it would have been wrong for Red Bull to have ‘thrown the towel in’ on Daniil Kvyat’s Formula 1 career, despite his struggles earlier this year. Amid interest from rival team Force India, Toro Rosso moved quickly over the United States Grand Prix weekend to commit to a new contract for Kvyat to remain on board for next year.
