Barcelona announces dates for 2017 F1 pre-season testing

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya chiefs have confirmed that the 2017 Formula One pre-season testing will comprise two four-day sessions held at the Spanish Grand Prix venue. The first test is scheduled from February 27 to March 2, with the second group running will take place on March 7-10. Given the scope of next year’s regulation changes, F1 tyre supplier Pirelli along with some teams, including triple world champions Mercedes, were keen to test under warmer conditions in Bahrain.
