Zander rejoins Sauber as Technical Director
Sauber F1 Team has appointed of Jörg Zander as its Technical Director. Zander worked as Chief Designer for the BMW Sauber F1 Team back in 2006 and 2007. Currently Zander works as Technical Director for Audi Sport. The 52-year old German will start at the beginning of 2017 at the Sauber F1 Team headquarters in Hinwil. Sauber was left without a technical director when Mark Smith decided to leave in March 2016 after just 9 months with the team. The team's new TD, Jörg Zander has more than 25 years of experience in international motorsport working in different leading technical positions.
