Pirelli end 2017 Tyre Tests with Abu Dhabi runs

Pirelli concluded their 2017 tyre testing programme as the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, Scuderia Ferrari and Red Bull Racing all ran laps around the Yas Marina Circuit earlier this week. For the first time, all three teams ran at the same venue at the same time with their modified 2015 machines with increased downforce levels to attempt to simulate 2017 levels, and between them they completed 331 laps of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix circuit, equivalent to six race distances. Approximately 96 different sets of prototype tyres were used, with Lewis Hamilton and Pascal Wehrlein running for Mercedes, Kimi Raikkonen for Ferrari, and Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen for Red Bull....
