Gasly aims to be on grid for French GP

– New GP2 champion Pierre Gasly says that he is determined to secure a place on the Formula 1 grid for the French Grand Prix's comeback at the Circuit Paul Ricard in 2018.Gasly collected four wins and five further podiums en route to the GP2 crown, beating Prema team-mate Antonio Giovinazzi, but missed out on a seat at Toro Rosso for 2017.Red Bull team boss Christian Horner insists the 20-year-old can still have a future in Formula 1, and Gasly hopes to have graduated in time for his country's return to the calendar."We've been waiting for so long for the return of the French Grand Prix, now it's here and there are so many people and fans who love it," said Gasly, as he...
