Mercedes releases teasers of W08 Hybrid

Mercedes has released a teaser of its 2017 Formula 1 challenger, the W08 Hybrid, ahead of its launch at Silverstone on Thursday. The reigning World Champions published a handful of images, with the most striking being the team’s decision to eschew the ‘thumb nose’ design on the front of the car. Rivals Williams, Renault and Sauber – the only teams to have fully unveiled their respective machines – have all taken the route of using the thumb nose. Mercedes will take the wraps off the W08 Hybrid at the home of the British Grand Prix on Thursday lunchtime.
