Renault engine expires after six laps at Toro Rosso film day!

 XPB Images We're hoping this isn't a sign of things to come but a Renault engine failed after just a few laps at Misano today as Toro Rosso shook down its STR12! The Faenza-based outfit was allowed some short running at the Italian track for the purpose of filming. A bit too short actually as the team could not revive the Renault power unit.  Toro Rosso has made the switch from Ferrari to Renault power and has high hopes of moving up the grid thanks to the efforts of the French manufacturer over the winter centered on a new design produced by engine-man Remi Taffin.
