McLaren carry out filming day MCL32 shakedown (Pictures)

Barcelona Testing – McLaren have carried out a filming day shakedown of their new MCL32, with both Fernando Alonso & Stoffel Vandoorne getting the chance to drive the car. Formula 1 teams are allowed carry out two filming days over the course of a season, using current machinery. However, such days are restricted to 100 kilometres distance and the car must run on demonstration Pirelli tyres designed for such an event. The purpose of these days is to allow teams to record footage for commercial purposes, but also serves as a handy means of conducting a shakedown.
