Pérez lands first fine of 2017 for speeding
– Sergio Pérez has been hit with the first fine of 2017 after he was caught speeding in the pit lane during Friday's opening practice session for the Australian Grand Prix.Pérez, showing off Force India's new pink livery, exceeded the 60 km/h speed limit by 1.6 km/h, enough to earn a 200 fine, which has been officially dished out to the team.Australia, Monaco and Singapore use a stricter pit lane speed limit of 60 km/h (37.2 mph), due to the nature of the circuits, while other events run at 80 km/h (49.7 mph).Pérez ended the first free practice session in 10th position.
