Mercedes have been tipped to act as consultants to Honda in a bid to help them overcome their engine problems with McLaren. There have been strong calls for McLaren to return to a partnership with Mercedes as their engine supplier, but they could play a helping hand another way without the contract between the Woking team and Honda being broken.
