Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen secure Ferrari front row lockout in Russia

Sebastian Vettel set the quickest time in qualifying for the Russian Grand Prix, scoring Ferrari’s first pole position since Singapore 2015. It was also the first non-Mercedes pole since Monaco 2016 and with Kimi Raikkonen in second place, it gave Ferrari its first front row lockout since the 2008 French Grand Prix. Ferrari led the way in practice on Friday and Saturday morning, but Mercedes looked strong through the first two segments of qualifying. However, Vettel put in an impressive performance in Q3 with a 1:33.194 and take pole. Raikkonen was unable to improve on his final attempt but stayed on the front row.
