Raikkonen ‘Great to be back on pole'

Kimi Raikkonen has said it is 'great' to be back on pole position as he ended a run of 128 races without grabbing P1 on the grid. Team-mate Sebastian Vettel looked the most likely pole-sitter to emerge from the practice sessions, but the Finn really dialled it in at the Monte Carlo circuit, posting a 1:12.178 which is a new outright lap record at Monaco. It is Raikkonen's first pole since the French Grand Prix in 2008 and revealed it was not as easy to break that spell as he made it look. 'It's great,' said Raikkonen.
