Renault warns Jolyon Palmer he 'has to deliver' or face losing seat
Renault team boss Cyril Abiteboul has warned Jolyon Palmer that he must begin to deliver points for the team, else he risks being replaced. Whilst team-mate Nico Hulkenberg has scored 18 points this season, Palmer has yet to score a single point with a highest finish of 11th in both Monaco and Canada, compared to Hulkenberg's high of sixth in Spain. Renault believes it is currently overly dependent on Hulkenberg to deliver points, which Abiteboul says is unfair on the German, and has consequently urged Palmer to up his game.
