Hamilton: Bottas has earned 2018 stay

– Lewis Hamilton believes that new team-mate Valtteri Bottas has proven that he has "earned his place" at Mercedes for the long-term.Bottas joined Mercedes in January in place of retired World Champion Nico Rosberg, and has taken both his maiden pole and victory this season, entering this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix third overall.Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has insisted that the manufacturer is in no rush to settle Bottas' future, with the Finn also taking a similar stance when questioned about his future on Thursday.Hamilton, though, reckons Bottas will continue to get stronger throughout the year and reckons his counterpart's performances warrant an...
