McLaren-backed Norris gets Daytona run

– McLaren protégé Lando Norris will make his sportscar debut at the Dayton 24 Hours next January.Norris, 17, joined McLaren's young driver scheme after taking titles in the Toyota Racing Series, Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula Renault NEC in 2016.Norris graduated to European Formula 3 championship this year and has captured three wins to hold third position in the standings at the halfway point of the campaign.Norris will pilot a Ligier JS P217 for United Autosports – the team co-founded by McLaren chief Zak Brown – at the iconic event, alongside US-based Will Owen and a yet-to-be-confirmed third driver."I'm looking forward to racing at Daytona – it will be an...
