Lewis Hamilton hails 'faultless' Mercedes after British GP victory

Lewis Hamilton has described his Mercedes team as “faultless” during the British Grand Prix, after winning the race for the fifth time in his F1 career. The British driver started from pole position on home soil and had a good start, to lead the field on the opening lap at Silverstone. Having negotiated the early safety car, he was able to open up a considerable gap over Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen, eventually finishing 14 seconds clear. It was his fourth consecutive triumph at the race and Hamilton admitted Mercedes did not put a foot wrong on Sunday. “The team did an exceptional job this weekend, the car felt great and the team really were generally faultless,”...
