Robert Kubica will reportedly be given the opportunity to take part in a private test for Williams ahead of potentially joining the team in 2018. With Renault opting to take Carlos Sainz on a year-long loan from the Red Bull family, it closed the door on the Pole returning to Formula 1 with his former team.
