Jolyon Palmer was delighted to record his best Formula 1 result of sixth in Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix, coming almost a year after his last points finish. The result came at the end of a tough weekend for Palmer, who was confirmed to be replaced at Renault in 2018 on Friday, later revealing he found out via reading an article online.
