With precious few exceptions, modern-day professional racing drivers are a boring bunch. But there's logic behind that, and reason for fans to be grateful for what they have - and reason why it may even improve... One of the most famous racing drivers of the 21st century was not only fictional, but also faceless: Top Gear's superstar, 'The Stig'.
