Ultrasoft tyre goes pink in Austin for breast cancer

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli is joining the sport in getting behind breast cancer prevention month by turning its Ultrasoft tyre pink in colour for the United States Grand Prix only. The softest compound in the range, which is usually purple, will now feature pink sidewall markings as part of Breast Cancer Care's prevention month, organised by the Susan G.Komen foundation. There will also be a number of off track activities, whilst teams will be selling pink themed merchandise to raise money for the foundation.
