Fernando Alonso has extended his contract with McLaren for the 2018 Formula 1 season alongside Stoffel Vandoorne. The Spaniard’s contract was due to expire at the end of the current season, with Alonso looking at various options in the midst of McLaren’s difficult tenure with their engine supplier Honda.
