United States GP: Practice notes - Mercedes

Lewis finished the morning session in P1 with Valtteri in P3. Lewis ended the day in P1 with Valtteri in P4 in the afternoon session. Both drivers ran the Intermediate and the SuperSoft compound tyre in FP1. Lewis then used the Soft and UltraSoft tyres in FP2, Valtteri the SuperSofts and the UltraSofts. Lewis Hamilton: It's been an interesting day with lots of ups and downs in terms of how the track has moved around and how the car feels. But overall the car was feeling good. There are lots of areas we can improve on, but generally it feels like a solid platform and a solid start to the weekend.
