Vandoorne applauds new Alonso deal

Stoffel Vandoorne reckons McLaren will have 'one of the strongest line-ups' next season after Fernando Alonso re-signed with the team. After months of speculation, McLaren announced on Thursday that the double World Champion would remain at Woking next season. Vandoorne has hailed the continuation of his partnership with Alonso, confident that together they form one of the 'best' partnerships in F1.
