Formula E's electric gladiators descended on Rome

Formula E produced a spectacular show run in Rome this week, the Eternal City buzzing with the swooshing sound of four electric racers. Leading the high-volt charge was reigning champion and Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler driver Lucas di Grassi, touring the city alongside former champions Sebastien Buemi, Nelson Piquet Jn. and Formula E newcomer Luca Filippi. The quartet showcased the burgeoning electric series, which will race in Rome in April 2018, passing by ancient landmarks as they made their way to the contemporary Esposizione Universale Roma district, where the race will be held in April 2018.
