Brendon Hartley has been chosen over Daniil Kvyat at Toro Rosso to partner Pierre Gasly for the Mexican Grand Prix this weekend. Hartley subbed in for Gasly, who went to contest the Super Formula championship decider at Suzuka only for it to be cancelled due to a Typhoon hitting Japan, and was unsure of his future at the Italian team having finished his F1 debut 14th at the United States Grand Prix.
