Haas call for permanent stewards

Guenther Steiner has urged Formula 1 to consider permanent stewards after Romain Grosjean was penalised in Mexico. The Frenchman was handed a five-second time penalty for cutting a corner while battling with Fernando Alonso for position. The McLaren driver, though, escaped punishment despite later making contact with the Haas driver. Haas team boss Steiner spoke with F1 race director Charlie Whiting after the grand prix and voiced his concerns about the inconsistent stewarding decisions.
