Force India: Very impressed with George Russell in FP1

< ► > British teenager George Russell put himself firmly on the Formula One radar on Friday with an impressive practice debut with Force India at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The 19-year-old GP3 champion, replacing regular race driver Sergio Perez for the opening session, lapped 12th fastest. Russell said later on Twitter that, while having no expectations in an unfamiliar car at a circuit he had never previously driven, he was ‘fairly pleased' with his morning's work.
