Honda hopes ‘to end on high' with McLaren

Honda F1 boss Yusuke Hasegawa is hoping to end 'on a high' with McLaren as the two parties prepare to go their separate ways after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. After three years of pain and agony, McLaren will link up with Renault next season while Honda are heading for a fresh start with Toro Rosso. But before that happens, Honda are wanting to go out with a bang, so to speak. 'The weekend is significant as it is our final race as McLaren-Honda,' said Hasegawa, 'Despite this, everyone will be fully focussed on extracting the full potential from our package and continuing the momentum we have built over the last few races.
