Sirotkin rumored to have massive trump card to secure Williams seat

As Williams continues to ponder who will partner Lance Stroll next season, Sergey Sirotkin is rumored to have a trump car which could settle a deal in his favour. Williams ran Sirotkin at the post-race Abu Dhabi tyre test and has added the 22-year-old Russian as a contender for its coveted drive, along with Robert Kubica, Paul di Resta, Pascal Wehrlein and Dany Kvyat. Backed by SMP, a Russian financial institution owned by oligarchs Boris and Arkady Rotenberg, Sirotkin is apparently offering Williams $15 million in sponsorship, according to Le Journal de Montreal.
