Historic first for GPDA in uncertain times

The Grand Prix Drivers' Association chairman, Alex Wurz, has revealed that there has been a 100 per cent sign-up for the first time since the association's inception. Wurz believes the increase in sign-ups is due to a pressing need for the drivers to stick together during the gradual process of Formula 1 becoming more in line with the vision of new owners Liberty. The blueprint for the sport post-2020 is at the first draft stage and the drivers feel a collective voice will help ensure that they have some input and protection with regards to the on-track changes.
