Ricciardo will assess “who has the best car” before deciding F1 future

Daniel Ricciardo says he’ll wait to see which Formula 1 team has the best car for 2019 before deciding on his future in the sport. The Australian driver is considered to be one of the hottest F1 properties with his current Red Bull contract expiring at the end of the 2018 season and Ricciardo is eager to secure a title-contending package from his next contract. Ricciardo has endured a number of near-misses with Red Bull having shown flashes of front-running pace despite being dominated by Mercedes in the V6 hybrid era.
