Regular viewers of Formula 1 will know that trying to second guess in-race strategies can become part of the fun. But just how hectic can grands prix be for those whose job it is to execute the split-second decisions? There is something slightly depressing about the fact that Formula 1's two main talking points since the chequered flag came down on last season have been about a logo and grid girls – two things that make absolutely zero difference to the racing on Sundays.
